Practical and environmentally sustainable design advice

Interior design

We offer a range of services and solutions:

Interior Design

This service is delivered in-person and includes the following stages: 1.Initial consultation – the purpose of this meeting is for us to get to know each other. We will discuss your renovation objectives, reasons or triggers for the project, whether you have a preferred design style and colour palette, budget, and timeframe. Seeing the site will help us understand it’s natural and structural features, opportunities to change the layout, identify potential issues and constraints. We will also go through our service offers and process, so that you can decide what you need to support your renovation. 2.Design Concept - based on what you have told us, we will prepare: • 2D Floor Plan - showing the recommended new layout/options (includes up to 2 layout revisions); • Materials Concept board - showing our recommended colour scheme and key furniture and fixtures based the orientation and natural light received in your site, your corporate brand/logo and style preferences. • Once you have approved these foundational design documents, we can move to the next stage. 3.Design Development – once the foundational design documents are approved, we can prepare: • Materials board - showing the final key recommended materials, fixtures and finishes; • Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment (FFE) schedule - showing the supplier, dimensions, colour, and other details for each selected material, fixture and finish. • Joinery drawings for custom cabinetry - detailed joinery drawings for your carpenter or cabinetmaker; • Reflected ceiling plan (RCP) - showing the location of new lighting fixtures, power points, etc. for your electrician or lighting engineer; • 3D model - of the approved Floor Plan with all the above details so that you can get a realistic visual representation of the completed project and minimise changes once the renovation is underway. It is also a great way of communicating with your trades and other stakeholders so that they are on the same page. • Photorealistic renders - elevations of your space that look like real photos, allowing you to see every object and detail of the future interior. No budget is too small, and we can re-use or re-purpose any items or features you would like keep. We are also mindful of minimising the environmental impact of your renovation, and will recommend sustainably-sourced products and materials wherever possible.

E-design (online consulting)

This service enables you to work with us remotely to transform your space. It is more cost-effective than our in-person service as it does not involve on-site visits, and may also have a faster turnaround. The process begins with a virtual meeting with you to understand existing site features, your needs and design brief. Before we can start preparing the design documents, we need detailed measurements of the space for which you have the following options: • Taking the measurements for us using an app on your phone – it’s as simple as taking a video, or • Covering the costs associated with us making a trip to your site. We can then proceed to create a bespoke set of design documents at the same level of detail and quality as you would receive under our full service. These documents will be sent you in soft copy so that you can access them from your computer at your convenience, and we will walk you through each one in another virtual meeting.

Cosmetic renovations

These are fast and high-impact property makeovers if you want to get back to operating your business and increasing your property’s appeal to buyers or renters. The design changes can often be completed in a few days as they do not involve structural changes or council approvals.
